Yellow and you
go beyond alliteration
and pompous poetic devices.
Halogen lamps
still stand tall on streets
where we once kissed,
kids, discovering the magic
of love and passion.
Gerberas
tied to your tresses
you lay over
the glittering sand
like the muse
of many a poet.
And yet, never a cliché!
All that now remain of you
are decaying teeth
from smoke swaying
in your remembrance and
yellowing pages
of countless poems
I, too wrote for you.
For, at every fleeting reflection of you
I see halogen lamps, gerberas and sand
emerging out of swirls of smoke
And whenever I look at the sun,
I look, at your frozen face.

Lolz!, OK, I guess from now on only the name of the authors should suffice...
